Hey all

That should read LONGtime lurker first time poster.

I first found out about DakkaDakka at the Canadian GT in Toronto in the summer of 2000 (might have been 1999..i forget now).
I played a guy who was handing out buttons that read "I block twice my height" and "Got Dakka?" The buttons also had a website address... and voila.
So, I signed up way back then and may have even posted a little, but mostly I just lurked. .. for years.

Dakka today is a much different place then it was back then. I sort of miss the old, um, surliness.

So, does anyone else remember those big black buttons?

Teek, do you remember who was making them? Was it guys from the store taking the buttons with them to tournaments?

But do you have the 'Got Dakka?' cap?
Mines in my cupboard.

Russ mailed me all of my stuff in return for a copy of the 3rd ed tyranid codex I had 6 months prior to release.

Welcome back anyway.
The surliness comes in waves. We've got quite a few younger posters now, give them a few years and they will be as jaded as the rest of us old timers.
