I couldn't help noticing the map on page 22 and 23 of the little lacking scenario booklet that came with the Black Reach box set.

WTF?
looking around at the map, there seems to be a few more fleshed out worlds out there. not only does it look like the Imperium is shrinking, based on comparison to the old map, there seems to be a few new worlds with some ... interesting addentums to it.

Does anyone have word on the new and improved 40k direction? Why was all of this revealed so early?

Where are the scenarios for the boxed set that usually come with it, did someone forget them? I felt that the pamphlet was good, but they left out more then they should have about the contents of the box, then they should have. I feel a little cheated with the book in question, and that it seemed more of like getting puked on then a good start to playing 40K.

I'm all for shameless selfpromotion like the next guy, but there seemed to be alot of excess stuff that could have been left to the side in the black reach starter book. There is a complete lack of meat and potatoes as far as what the stuff in the box is for.

Maybe its just me, but i just thought i'd ask if there is something in the box that I missed, or where the scenarios are located if they arn't supposed to be included.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I didn't bother looking at the booklet, because I was just interested in the miniatures and compact rule book, but you're right. The scenarios that are referrenced in the latest white dwarf are nowhere to be seen. Not that I would ever use them, but isn't that sort of stuff assumed?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
