The military can certainly be a good thing for people who are kind of drifting in life, don't really know what to do, and who lack discipline. It certainly straightened out Lormax and several of our other friends who joined up.

However there is one very important difference between their situation and yours. They joined in peace time, and if you sign up, you're joining during a war. Keep that in mind.
