I asked before what counts as exemplar for Epic Kreoss's Elite Cadre bonus, but now that there's new Exemplar stuff being released, I kind of feel it's necessary to ask again.

Knights Exemplar are Exemplar. That's clear.

Exemplar Errant are ALSO exemplar. They've been declared as such and get Elite Cadre, can bring an extra unit if you have a seneschal, etc.

Exemplar Vengers are NOT, they're a "protectorate dragoon unit" or some such.

Exemplar Sensechals are NOT, they're just solos. "Protectorate Solo" and all that.

High Exemplar Gravus......is? He's labeled a "Exemplar Dragoon Solo", so since he's Exemplar, does he get the boost?

And these new guys coming out. I've heard the character guy [R...Rsomething] isn't, but his bodyguard IS? And the man-o-war-ish unit is also? Or is not?

Is there an official Errata on this somewhere, released in a no quarter, something? I have heard speculation but locally nobody KNOWS for sure, and since the nomenclature of the different units/solos changes all the time from Exemplar unit to "Exemplar" unit, it's really confusing.

Elite Cadre only applies to Units (the rules should be in Apotheosis), so not gravus.

Bastions are a "Protectorate Exemplar Unit", so not Elite Cadre, but they do benefit
from Gravus's abilities.

The bodyguard are listed as "Exemplar models," so not Elite Cadre, and again they
do benefit from Gravus's abilities.

I'm basing all of this just on the wording.

Why would the Bastions not get Elite Cadre, if they're an Exemplar Unit? They're Exemplar, and they're a unit, so they should get it no?

It says Knights Exemplar Unit, and the Bastions are just an Exemplar Unit.

Elite Cadre:
Knights Exemplar
Exemplar Errant

Gravus:
Exemplar Errant
Exemplar Vengers
Exemplar Bastion
Exemplar Seneschal
Knights Exemplar
Gius and Cassian (those bodyguard dudes)

Exemplar =/= Knights Exemplar.

Bastions and Vengers are not Knights Exemplar because the phrase "Knights Exemplar" doesn't appear in either the unit title or subtitle. I'm not sure, but I believe Rhoven's bodyguards Gius and Cassian are also labeled as simply "Exemplar."

Knights Exemplar are obviously Knights Exemplar. Exemplar Errants are Knights Exemplar because their subtitle says they are a "Knights Exemplar Unit."

Seneschals and Gravus don't get Elite Cadre because Elite Cadre specifies units only. Seneschals and Gravus are solos.

Gius and Cassian have a rule that makes them "Exemplar models," but not "Knights Exemplar models."
