At the moment it is automatically detected (in your case incorrectly). Sometime in november a fix will be put up that will allow the flag to be changed, so please sit tight until then. People can see from your 'Location' that you are in Italy so you dont have to worry about people thinking you are german instead of italian.

The same thing now happens to me. Ever since I switched ISP's, my flag has been wrong. At least webmax is on the correct continent

Nevertheless, if a fix is coming then that can't be too bad.

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I didn't even switch ISP. I just moved to a different part of town and I've got an American toilet-rag again. Probably moved just far enough away to be an on a different IP or something though. Would it have been admin action that changed it from US to Aust in the first place? (it was changed shortly after I reported it a while back)

No, we currently cannot manually change user's flags.

We will have that option soon, so you'll just have to put up with the incorrect flag a little while longer.

And P.S. -- calling another country's flag a "toilet-rag" is pretty impolite.

The Australian flag hanging on the wall in my home is also pretty impolite, if you have trouble laughing at certain things. I apologise. I would never wipe my...

At work I get the american flag (which people can see daily on the news in a million different places, hence the toiletrag-remark I guess), and at home I get the belgian one. Not a great one as well, but at least its rarer then those dichromatic stars and stripes> Perhaps put the flemish one on here? Would earn my gratitude in a humongous way!

I've got three flags on my messages. UK from home. US from work. And Japan from holidays. My ambition is to collect some more countries flags by going on holiday and posting from internet cafes.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
