Welcome to this 5th installment of Battle Reports on www.wargamereports.com. I am going to ask you to hold on to your seats because this time we have something really special for you feast your eyes upon this time. The thing is that two friends of ours have spent the better part of the last 3-4 months building a gaming table that features the interior of a space ship. What they did was that they crafted a reasonable amount of detachable rooms and hallways, which can be rearranged as one sees fit, to create an ultimate gaming experience on a 4' x 6' table.

Nice report, but some close ups of the action/pivotal events would have made the report a lot more exciting.

Thanx mate, you've probably missed (or so I hope) an important part of our layout. There is a filmstrip above each map, rolling your mouse over it will swap out the maps for pictures.

It also looks like the scenario was retardedly in the favor of the chaos marines. Pocketed compartments with terrible line of sight turns guard units into close range firefighters that get butchered in hand to hand.... which looks to be exactly what happened.

Well you are ofc entitled to your opinion but that most certainly was not the case. This one was pretty much won and lost on the dice. It happens sometimes, but on average luck the IG player would have had every change to draw or even win the game.

That's a nice batrep. The maps and filmstrip is really cool as were the armies. More like this please.

As to the reply about the scenario favoring the chaos marines, it happens. All the time. Some armies are favored by certain terrain/objectives, and some armies get heavily shafted. This appeared to be a fun game, and I'm sure both players going in took it as such, in which case the favor of the scenario matters little.
