Well here are a few pics of what I'm currently working on. Most every thing so far has come from AOBR, so the conversions are to make them fit my lists.

First are the Space Wolfs, starting with my Rune Priest. He has a Frost Blade, Chooser of the Slain, and Runic Staff.

Next is a generic Grey Hunter. The only modifications is a sculpted hair, beard, and furry loin cloth.

Here will be my Wolf Guard Battle Leader. He has sculpted hair and cloak. I still have to remove the bolter and replace it with a bolt pistol. I couldn't make a beard fit so I made his hair more wild and feral looking.

Here is my Dread. Just started. I'm going to convert the multi-melta into TL Heavy Flamer and add a heavy flamer on the DCCW arm. Just started with this one as well.

Last is my first Blood Claw with a flamer. Nothing special on him.

The only ork I've started is my biker boss. I'm using the AOBR warboss and the new warbikes. I took the tracks off of the old style warbike to make the back end look a little beefer. Its a project that has just started though, so there isn't much progress. I'm still figuring out the exhaust pipes and other doo-dads.

And because I have a painting life outside of 40K. Here is my current resin model work for a contest that is due in Nov. I still have some time on this one, so updates on it will probably be fewer.

Here is how he started out.

And here he is stripped, primed, and base colored on the cloak and skin. Like I said, still a lot to do.

For the curious, you can see more of my resin figure work by following this link

Thanks for looking.

So many new wolf projects coming out of hiding these days ^_^.

A good start so far on them.

The commanders cloak looks like it could use a bit more brown stuff work to make the fur more 'furry' looking. I'm not an expert sculptor by any means, and have yet to tackle the fur issue myself (in the future...when I start my own wolves army...yeah right...like I'll finish an army!) though.

I'm really interested in seeing how your new resin figure is going to come out. Your base coats are extremely smooth so far. Any chance for a scale comparison?

Here is a small update.

With the exception of the basing I've pretty much finished my Wolf Guard Battle Leader. He started life as the commander dude from the AOBR set.

The AOBR big shoota boys got converted to burna boys because I need a few more of them and I REALLLLY don't need any more big shoota boys.

Here is my converted Twin Linked Heavy Flamer (from a meltagun arm) for my Dreadnaught.

And since grey_death asked for a size comparison shot for my samurai, here is one.

Is that a gamecube in the background?

Oh, and nice work. I envy your space wolf captain. With a few extra lines (Read: 8-pointed star) he would be a good model. As it stands, he is not chaotic enough.

Its been a slow week for modeling. I rented Star Wars: The force unleashed. Decent game, but I wanted to finish it before I had to send it back.

Anyway, here is my Wolf Dread. Skarin. The dread will probably become my Venerable dread due to all of the fancy extra bits molded onto the model.

Let me know what you think.
