I was reading the rule book again and noticed that the power claw no longer transfer the double strength to all you attacks (just one) so...
I was wondering for my Nobz that are leading my slugga boyz, Is a S8 attack (S9 on a charge) at initiative 1+3 S4 (4 S5 on a charge) attacks better than, equal to, or worse than 3 S6 attack (4 S7 on a charge)...
Power claw
+ : I can wound a big guy or Insta-kill a multi wound//high armor-save guy,damage a vehicle.
-- :provided that I hit vs WS,and that the attack happens at I1....
Big choppa
+ : On the other hand I can wound most infantry units on a 2+ and most likely kill roughly 1-2 guys and save 20 points a unit
-- :it will rarely wound a big guy or Insta-kill a multi wound//high armor-save guy,damage a vehicle.

Um, you may want to re-read the rules. If an Ork is equipped with a Power Klaw, then all of its attacks get the bonus (unless it uses another weapon in combat...).

Yeah, you're reading the section wrong. That part is about the +1A bonus you might get from having two single-handed weapons.

to clear things up how about we just answer these two questions instead...
so the respective nob would have which one of the following:
a] 3 power claw attacks
b] 1 power claw attack and 3 normal attacks
c] 3 power claw attack and 1 normal attack
d] 4 power claw attack
and while charging
a]4 power claw attacks
b]4 power claw attacks and 1 normal
c]3 power claw attacks and 2 normal
d]2 power claw attacks and 2 normal
e]1 power claw attack and 3 normal
f]1 power claw attack and 4 normal
Edit: normally a Nob gets 3 attacks (forgot he had a slugga)
extra attacks came from the following:
the power claw being counted as a second weapon in addition to the slugga
the power claw receiving the bonus from charging
the combination of the two being the power claw does receive the bonus or does not receive the bonus.

A: Three Power Klaw attacks.
Unless the Nob was armed with a slugga, in which case he'd have a choice between S8 A3 I1 Power Weapon and S4 A3 I3 Close Combat Weapon.

That is incorrect. Pg 42 of the small AOBR book. Fighting with two single handed weapons. Subheading Normal and a special weapon. "These models gain one additional attack. All of the attacks, including the bonus attack, use the special weapons bonuses and penalties. It goes on to say if your using thunderhammers, P-fist, or lightning claw, you only get the bonus attack if using two of the same weapons.
So in short, you can never turn off your P-fist, thunder hammer or powerclaw. You must use the special weapon for all your attacks, no exception is givin.
To answer the OPs question. Powerclaw if you want to kill anything in the game and are pretty sure you don't mind going last. Big Choppa if going at initiative is important to you. Myself... I'm a powerclaw guy. I'll take one every time, no exceptions.

Powerklaw, no question. It's the only dependable way to kill heavy infantry and vehicles in the Ork army, and the initiative difference won't stop most of your real threats from swinging anyway.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

is it correct to say that, you do not receive a +1 bonus to attack if your Nob is wielding a PK and slugga? even if that extra attack is at the normal profile of the respective nob?

Nobs DO NOT get +1 attack when using a Powerclaw and a Slugga. Nobs armed with Powerclaws can NEVER use any weapon other than the powerclaw to attack. Period, full stop, end of conversation. This is not a fluff or personal preference. Its the rule as printed in the Main Rule Book.

QuietOrkmi:
It would be correct. If a model has two single-handed weapons, then you follow the stacking rules given on page 42. A Power Klaw is a special close combat weapon, and a Slugga is a normal close combat weapon, so all of the attacks use the special close combat weapon's bonuses, and there's no +1A for using the Slugga.
Jayden63 is right in that you have to use a special close combat weapon, see p.35 "Who Can Fight?", but if you have more than one special close combat weapon it's pretty clear you get to choose.

With this being the case, does it make more sense to take a shoota or kombi-shoota for the nob, especially in a footslogging unit? Does it matter if the unit are shoota or slugga boys?

Corrected, a klaw can act as a second close combat weapon and yields +1A. If facing grots (anything else T2 and no armour?) it will be better to use the slugga as the primary weapon.

I was going to shoot it down, but I will say Big Choppa is OK. For the price of 4 Boyz you get 'Eavy Armour with two wounds, a Bosspole, and decent attacks at I3/4.
But you want some Klaws and if you are not taking dedicated Nob squad you want them in your Troop. S9 at the charge, get those guys stuck in. Instead of two Klaws you could have one Rokkit Buggie. Whoopdie-whoop. Take a couple Klaws.
