Curious if anyone's tried the Dead Walk Again rules for a skirmish type mini game.

I've made some modifications to the rules to play the way I like, but I have questions on some of the basic rules:

1.) Do Close Quarters Maneuvers alert zombies to come onto the board?
2.) Activation - do models have to complete their activation before moving on to other models?
3.) Fire effects - when do the consecutive burn damage effects take place? Top of the player turn? Top of the zombie turn?
4.) Fire effects (cont.) - when does the fire effect spread to models in base contact? (i've worked out a house rule for it where if a new fire effect applies to a model the adjacent model(s) test for a spread effect, but if it's a model whose already on fire and in base contact at the beginning of the player turn at that point test for spread), not sure if it is balanced though.
5.) Alerting new zombies - when do the new zombies appear? immediately during the player turn? the same turn on the zombie activation? the top of the next turn?
6.) Fear mechanic - should this read "...Roll 2d6 *OVER* or equal to 10..." ?

If anyone's curious the DWA rules are available for free download from Planned Movement Productions
