Angel and Neph charge in. Hopefully the Angel dies and Thaggy brings it back. Shredders are a reserve, and cast Tenacity. Harrier hunts solos and things (flanks). Swordsmen get Draconic Blessing. My first time using Incubi.

Basically the Angel looks to rape everything. Tenacity and Death Shroud make it DEF 15 ARM 20. Yikes.

A bit risky, because Thagrosh has to move up with his forces and there is nothing really for him to hide behind.

I hope Death Shroud (or whatever the spell is) is enough to keep Thag safe from shooty.

Problem with Thagrosh is his feat. Its best use is often simply to bring your Harrier back. But it should be useful for using the Angelius aggressively. If you put ARM 22 on the Carni (Death Shroud + Spiny Growth) the thing never dies and they can just ignore it.

Note the Nephilim's Massacre animus, too. Nifty! Hopefully we can get a game in today (Monday). We played a game with Lylyth and I lost.

Yeah, in order to get any play out of that feat, especially in a timed event, something has

How are you going to store that Angelius?

Assuming I am not missing the joke, my Angel is a Red Terror with plastic wings that poke in. Which don't actually poke in yet. It is easy to transport.

In my experience the Angelius does not entirely rape (aka destroy) I found that combining it with warmongers, which do block LOS for Thag, that things eventually die with little retaliation.

Also, if its just 500pts you may consider using the Carnviean instead. With Deathshroud, its animus and thaggy casting tenacity on it, most other units in the game have a really really hard time hurting the thing.

I'd run something like this (totally different style, and tricky with abominations all over the place)

Definately tricky. Also, I think you would want another Warbeast in there to generate fury. Maybe lose the Raptors, and replace with ... a second Carnivean?

The Angel's best ability, and what makes it a winner, is its abilty to leave combat and attack a new target, maybe even in the back. That, and it is DEF15 with Tenacity. yikes.
