In the SM codew it says that the Dreadnught can have plasma cannon and twin-linked autocannon, why does the box not include these wapons and how can I get them?

You can also convert your own rather easily, just hack off the assault cannon or fill in the missile shed on your missile launcher then just stick appropriate weapon on and presto. Instant Dread options.

I made up a plasma cannon arm for my dread back in 3rd ed - and then it wasn't used in 4th ed, except on my GK dread (who also got the twin autocannon and twin-heavy bolter arms).
I used the plastic dread lascannon arm and a spare plasma cannon from a Leman Russ Demolisher kit.
Autocannons were made from brass rod and plastic tube, mounted on the plstic assault cannon arm. I managed to pick up a handful of metal A/C and lascannon arms for loyalist dreads a few years back and didn't need the plastics.

Use IG autocannon, most players prefer heavy bolters and lascannon so you should get some spare somewhere.
The major problem is converting the left arm, the best complement for twin linked autocannon is another twin linked autocannon.

if you are going to have the plasma cannon then no, have it as a fire base, unless you have two CC hands.
