My gaming group was talking about picking up a few sets of Blood bowl, having everyone paint up a team, and (with permission) invading our FLGS on Superbowl Sunday with potluck snacks, a TV with rabbit ears, and all our Blood Bowl Teams and making a day of it....

None of us having playing Blood Bowl before we're not entirely sure what we're getting into yet, but I thought it would also be fun to tie in the superbowl events to the bloodbowl itself.. i.e. Interception/Fumble in the Superbowl? Interception/fumble in the Blood Bowl!

Anyone with experience playing Blood Bowl have any comments on that sort of thing?
