Is it possible to make an powerfull Tau army with just crisis suits and broadsides?

But those are elite and HS choices. So unless it was apocalypse...

well you can run a commander in his suit plus his body guard squad, and a full 3 squads of crisis suits and a full 3 squads of broad sides but you'll still need the 2 base fire warrior squads maybe in a devil fish for mobility. But only troops can take objectives...your gonna have to completely kill off your enemy...its also a very small Tau army...i would be worried about getting blasted to kingdom come running around in nothing but crisis suits. its almost do able...crunch the numbers and check it out...

Long-time Dakka member Torgoch invented a Tau army based around Commander Farsight and his large retinue of Suits. It combines mobility, firepower and surprising H2H capability.

Obviously you have to satisfy the legal list requirements, unless you play with friends who are up for a knockabout game.
