This is the 2nd battle of my time at an flgs tourney, part 1 was written very recently. This is also my first tourney, btw.

SECOND BATTLE
Opponent- Space Marines (Green Tigers Chapter)
His Army List if I recall correctly:
1 Librarian
5 Terminators
10 Scouts
8 Marines
5 Marines
1 Landraider

This army was supposedly made to counter horde armies like my Orks. The field was LITTERED with terrain, making my advance look daunting. This battle was where my Dread got his title "Chosen of Mork," and you shall soon see why.

Deployment Mode: Dawn of War
Game Mode: Seize Ground

Deployment
We rolled for initiative, I attempted to steal and failed. He deployed his Librarian, 8 Marine squad, and Scouts first. I deployed my Big Mek, Shoota boyz, and Dread.

Turn 1, Marines
His Librarian jumped into some cover (literally, he had a Jump-pack), advanced his Marine squad into a crater for some good cover. Scouts ran behind cover and opened fire on my Dread, failing to damage it.

Orks
Big Mek moved onto a hill, negating his shot for that turn. Moved my Shootas forward, behind a building for (you guessed it) cover. Advanced my Dread toward his Scouts.

Turn 2, Marines
Everyone else appeared, Land Raider came in unable to fire and carrying the Terminators. 5 Marine squad ran behind a boulder. Scouts opened fire on my Dread, getting it a "Crew Shaken" result. 8 Marine squad fired at my Shootas, killing 3 and with a well-placed Plasma Cannon template, 7 more. Ouch.

Orks
Everyone else appeared, and advanced all of my Boyz, Lootas, Kanz, and the Dread. Mek shot at the Land Raider, getting too low strength to bust the tank.

Turn 3, Marines
Advanced his Land Raider just far enough so it could shoot, and his small Marine squad to get in range with his Melta. His Land Raider let out his Terminators. Fired his Land Raider Lascannons (with Machine Spirit too), Melta, and all his Scouts at the Dread, and it still stood with 1 Skorcha gone. "How the f***..." I said.

Orks
Advanced everything except the Mek and Lootas. Lootas fired at his Scouts, killing 1. Mek fired at the Land Raider and once again didn't get a high enough strength to bust it. Shootas shooted at the 8 Marine squad, killing 1. Dread ignited it's Skorcha and killed 3 Scouts, charging them afterward. Dread managed to kill 2 more, but the Scouts managed to escape the combat.

Turn 4, Marines
Scouts ran from the Dread. Terminators moved toward the Dread. Small Marine squad moved to get into range of its other weapons. Fired everyone at the Dread again, taking out one of it's CC arms. "What is happening? How the f*** is this happening?" I ask.

Orks
Once again, I advance everyone but the Mek and Lootas. The Dread ran after the small Marine squad. The Mek fired at the big Marine squad, getting a high strength hit that came on target, wiping out all but his Plasma Cannon. Lootas fired at the Scouts again, killing 1 more. The Dread charged the small Marine squad, not killing any of them, so they couldn't escape.

Turn 5, Marines
The game continued. Land Raider turning and shooting at the Mek, hitting him twice with Lascannons, luckily the Mek had a Cybork Body and rolled double 6 for his Invulnerable Save. Scouts opened fire on my Warboss' Sluggas, killing 3. Plasma Cannon Marine ran back to hold his Objective. Terminators turned their attention to the other Slugga mob and moved toward it. Librarian jumped out in front of my Warboss and his Sluggas and opened up with The Avenger, potentially hitting around 16. Luckily, the power didn't go off. Librarian charged the Mob and was killed. Orks consolidated forward.

Orks
Advanced all of my units once more. Lootas fired at the Plasma Cannon Marine and killed him. Mek fired at the LR and got a 5,6 result for strength, but it scattered off. The 5,6 result for the SAG is that everything under the template hole is hit but the gun cannot fire next turn. The Dread killed 2 Marines and they escaped, off the board. The Kans fired at the Terminators killing 1. The Slugga Mob nearest the Terminators charged them, killing 2 and getting 5 Boyz killed. Warboss and his boyz moved toward the LR, hoping to get a hit in with his Klaw.

Turn 6, Marines
The game continued. The LR moved toward it's Objective to contest it. LR fired at the Kanz, knocking one over and blowing off another's Kustom Mega-Blasta. The Sluggas killed 1 more Terminator, leaving the Sergeant behind and getting 2 more boyz killed.

Orks
Shootas ran toward the Marines' Objective. The Kanz tried running over a hill, getting one Immobilized and stopping the whole squadron. I didn't know the walker rules for Difficult Terrain nor the Squadron rules at the time. Everyone else moved toward the LR. The Mek didn't fire because of the risk of the other Orks getting caught in the blast.

The game ended, resulting in a tie.

Game result
Marines: Draw, with 0 claimed Objectives.
Orks: Draw, with 0 claimed Objectives.

My opponent asked me to rate him a 1 for Sportsmanship because of his 'incessant bitching,' I still gave him a good score though, he was pretty friendly, and he showed me his army before the tourney.

One more battle, to be continued...

These are good reports, keep em up. It sounds like your opponent muffed it. Seriously, sending a Libby out on his own to take on a mob? Was it an Epistolary? Could have worked, but his tactics still sound rather suspect.

I don't think he muffed it, he got really bad rolls. Also, I believe he said it was while since he last played.

And yes, that Librarian had Epistolary.

Ah, that may explain it. My apologies. Still, rather good job on your end.
