Hi Guys,

A little about myself, im from Auckland, New Zealand in my late 20's and just getting back into 40k after a very long break 15+ years, argg that makes me old!

Really enjoy the collecting and modelling side of the hobby. Ive yet to play a game in 5th, none of my friends are into 40k and im a little hesitant to head to my FLGS due to the difference in age groups i see their (that’s a nice way to say I really have no interest playing against kids!). I tend to get pretty serious about my hobbies so im hoping to find some like minded adults in my area.

Loving Dakka, the general tone around here is fantastic - serious with the right level humour and random banter!

In typical world owes me something/noob style im heading over to the army list forum for a critique of a Crimson Fist list im building.

All the Best,
Ben

Welcome to dakka ben
what army or armies do you collect?

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, really appreciate it

Hi JD, Must admit.. like everyone else im a marine man. Collecting a Crimson Fist force at the moment, will possibly look at a SW list if/when they get a new codex.

Clthomps, NZ's a great place. Lifestyle wise i dont think you can ask for much more. Where pretty layed back over here, we work hard but also play hard. A nice balance i feel!

Welcome to Dakka! I'm back after leaving off in 1994. Don't be shy about visiting the FLGS, I go to the local GW Bunker since it's a mix of ages, with plenty of adults to b.s. with/compete against.

I'm another old lag, much older as it happens.
