So I have a couple of questions regarding fluff and possibilities, and I'd like input. If you're gonna propose an argument, please think it out before "Chaos can't do that."

Fact 1: In Storm of Iron, the Iron Warrior Warsmith succeeds in breaking into the vaults and stealing all the geneseed under orders from Abaddon. It is clear that the Warsmith will get to keep a small portion, but the rest Abaddon has plans for.
Fact 2: Chaos has one of the best Apocethary's in the entire galaxy, Fabius Bile.
Fact 3: The Planet-Killer is constructed in the Eye of Terror.
Fact 4: Defilers are massed produced in the Eye.
Fact 5: The Obliterator techno-virus was developed by Chaos.

Facts three and four are to support my theory that the forces of Chaos do infact have infrastructure. I've heard a lot of people claim Chaos doesn't and that just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. How could you create a massive capitol ship that no one has ever seen before if you don't have infrastructure? I digress...

Questions and Assumed Answers: What did Abaddon do with all that geneseed? Did he replenish lost troops? I'm sure he did. Did he use it as a bargaining chip with the otehr traitors? I'm sure he did.

The Crazy Question: With the assistance of Fabius Bile, other renegade and traitor apothecaries and the Dark Adeptus, would it be possible to found new Chaos Chapters/Forces in the Eye?

Short answer: yes’s all around?

Don’t forget Chaos has also developed helltalon fighters and bombers, and quite a few superheavy vehicles that have nothing to do with the Imperium-doomwheels and such. There are also a plethora of other vehicles including mantis tanks. Like everything is chaotic. The infrastructure is there on many worlds, but for small war bands its not.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Interesting proposals. However, theres a few things to bear in mind.

I agree that its false to consider the Chaos Marines as unorganised. You see, in fluff terms, the thing that binds the loyalist Marines together, is a sense of service under the Emporer. If you remove this binding factor, you have some very powerful hombres out to suit themselves....why does one Marine follow orders from another Marine? In Chaos terms, because for what ever reason, one Marine exhibits better qualities than another Marine....be it strength, cunning or perhaps even madness.

So, going back to your orginal statements....what does Abaddon, or the Iron Warriors do to "control" these new Marines? They can't indoctrinate them in the same way as the Emporers lackys, and yet they can't simply let them run wild and free....so there has to be some kind of organsitionaly control....or else.

Now Fabius Bile, IMHO, is not the greatest genesmith in the galaxy, he's simply a mad man who is not affraid to experiment....theres a big difference. Your average apothecary produces more stable and more consistant results because he follows a routine (albeit a very superstitious one) while its clearly stated, even in game terms, that Fabius can create a master-piece or a serious mistake!

In terms of new Chapters coming from the eye itself, well that again, IMHO is flawed thinking. The High Lords of Terra create new foundings because of a military of control "need"....the Legions in the Eye, will simply expand their own forces, or Chapters will break away from the Imperium and rename themselves once they turn "traitor" in the Eye. There will of course be times when warbands will splinter away from current renegade chapters or Chaos Legions....but nothing so organised as the foundings undertaken by the Imperium.

Man down, Man down....

why not so organized? they once were in the imperium. thats where they learned everything they knew. Id say if someone said no way they arnt as organized, that your crazy. IMHO chaos has to be MORE so then the imperium. in the imperium its pounded into there heads, and basically bred into them to follow orders from superiors. In the Eye or anywhere else for that matter, you need not only serious head bashing abilities but also super strong "order"
So if you ask me totally, they can create knew chapters in the eye.
