Unfortunately it is not compatible with the 4th edition files, so you'll need to rebuild your 4th edition lists.

Luckily, it's completely separate, so no you won't.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Been waiting for this `cause I'm hopeless when it comes to pointing up lists without AB. Except for my Necrons. Monkeys can point up a Necron list.

First thing I noticed was the cost of the deathwind launcher was incorrect, I went to report it and there were already 10-15 other things to fix already... so make sure you doublechheck the math with your codex until the next intermediate update.

But my teacher always told me I would never need to use the math I learned, so I never really paid attention in class.

Hmm, maybe it's time I finally break down and buy AB, been holding off for so long but I feel dumb when everyone else comes in with their lists all so pretty.

I found a bug!

For tyranids.. if you assign toxic sacs to something, then add the weapons, it tells you your selection is wrong and it makes everything red.. you have to assign you weapons first, then biomorphs, or else it will try and tell you you can't do it

other than that it works great

Then post a bug over at the AB 40k builder site! http://www.ab40k.org/

There's quite a few bugs - especially unit costing errors in the SM file. So if you're using it for a tournie this weekend, make sure to independently verify your list beforehand.

Dude, excel + a printer. If you're too cheap for excel, and I know I am, openoffice is shareware that does the same thing for free.

Addition and subtraction was something your teacher told you that you would never use? Forgive me while I fall over dead.. That teacher should be in prison for commiting crimes against stupidity..

Seriously, if you have the armybook/codex, a paper and some pencils, it's easy.. Now the army builder does put it into a very nice readable format that most gamers have a hard time with, but other than that, you should be able to point out a list.. Well, there is also the lazy factor..

I'm not smart enough to use Excell. I just use army builder for making general lists but when I get something more permanent I'll use Dreamweaver and build my list as a web page with tables and all that stuff, then I can add my own notes.. like for nids, I'll put what each bug's venom cannon stats are instead of trying to figure out what it is since army builder still lists it's stats as str +2, etc

yes, but without all the nice little emoticons, sarcasm (and I'm as guilty as the next guy) doesn't translate into text very well.. In fact, it doesn't translate at all.. But, now that I know, I'll keep that in mind next time. 2+2 are 4.. 4+4 are 8.. 8+8 are khorne bloodletters 16 and 16 are 32.....

Sweet, I just downloaded the update today thanks for the tip about the tyranid bug... didn't bother redoing my lists though since there shouldn't really be any changes for nids (at least from what I could see).

Well, now that SM are in it I am buying this on Monday. Whoever wants the "refer a friend" hit me up with a PM and we will figure out what info they need. It's a 120 day extension.

Yet you can afford to buy miniatures at GW's prices?
