I've started this thread for anybody who has examples of the obsessive, gothic, over the top insanity found in the 40K fluff that they've discovered in the real world. Here's one I just found, and boy, is it a hoot!

you know things are going downhill when the preachers of a religion, whos diety advocates peace, love, acceptance and forgiveness, have a punch up. obviously they havent heard the term 'Practise what you Preach'

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

Listen, sometimes some peeps just be plain wrong and you gots to lay down a hand on a brother.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

it people placing more import to a place or object then to what the place or item represents that causes such things.
thats why they dont practice what is taught because the building means more to them then the man who died there.

and some times you do need to put people "in there place" there just aint helping some.

well there was this one time at the grocery store i stumbled upon a chaos cult in the cereal isle. I was just going to pass them by (hey worship what you want right?) when they sprung at me! So not wanting to be a sacrifice I pulled out my master crafted bolter and laid those bitches down! then i got angry because due to the current economy I realized that i shot off about $30 worth of bolter rounds.

Has anyone seen a TO&E of the US Army ?

I'll swear they're just waiting for an excuse to build and deploy a Stormblade batallion so the generals can pretend to be IG.
