Howdy!

New gamer here haven't been playing all that long but I am loving it. I collect Orks's, any advice on how to whoop ass with them would be appreiciated as I play my husband who plays space marines

I really could also do with some terrain building advice as I am the craftier of the two of us and I specialize in all the arty bits so any advice would be really appreiciated.

Wecome Hammergirl. If you post a list of what you like I am sure the orkie guys on here will give it a good once over and give you lots of advice.

As for scenery - Plasticard is your friend. If do an internet search for terrain templates you will find a TON of sites that give them out for free. You then just print them out, line them up with your card and cute, glue, paint and you get a nice looking tabletop piece.

Hope that helps!

Welcome to Dakka.

If you don't like Plasticard, there are plenty of buildings that can be done using cardboard. You can even get ready printed kits.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Welcome!

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?

Welcome! The local Games Workshop Battle Bunker in my area is constantly running terrain building sessions. If you have one in the area, try stopping by. As for advice on da Boyz, try the Tactics or Army List forums, they've got some great ideas.
