i need 40. yes... 40. of the jump packs from lord dante. yes, the ones with the blood angels logo on them.

no... a normal jump pack will not work.

i do not want to spend 500 dollars buying dante models just to get them. anyone willing to part with them. let me know.

No, seriously, show us the jumppacks, in particular the way they differ from standard jumppacks.

You might be better off using Blood Angel iconography and gluing it on.

greenstuff it = greenstuff mold his JP, then replicate it!

The only difference is that it has the blood angels badge on both jets.

I'd suggest just grabbing a few of the Blood Angels etched brass sheets from Forgeworld.

i can't get the icons from forgeworld, because they are not nearly as ornate as the dante ones...

I got to ask...What are you looking to use these for? What's the project? Sorry, I have only one of these that I can spare (which I'd be happy to send you, actually), but what on earth can you be putting together that would require such things? Also, would it suffice if you had regular jumppacks that had this iconography reproduced on them? I can screw around with some greenstuff and see what I can do to help out, but don't hold your breathe.

Dante's will protrude a little more, but other than that a BA badge is a BA badge. I'm not sure I'm seeing the distinction.

i am looking to use these packs are the standard jump packs throughout my entire blood angels army. i have gone as far as purchasing the old metal blood angels marines, purchasing forgeworld armor plates and doors for all my vehicles... and there are... 12.

i've been a blood angels fanboy since i first started playing this game. they were the first army i ever played years and years ago. i moved across the country and had no room to bring them with me, so i had to sell off all my warhammer stuff.

So I am looking to rebuild my army, but among the 2-3 obligatory blood angels players locally, i want mine to stand out... by a lot.

and as far as these go... they are either too big, too small... and i am going to use like 5 pieces of the sprue, and be unhappy with it. no thanks.







none of this stuff is built yet, it's being collected at the moment while i finish up painting another army., i need so many because they are all being magnetized so i can spap them out with regular packs to toss them in a rhino when needed.

Honestly, at that quantity the only affordable solution is to buy one and recast it in white metal yourself... don't worry, I won't tell

You could also just make a bunch of GS-press molds of the icons and do the decoration yourself... that's what I've been doing for my BA army instead of buying lots of Dantes (altho I did end up owning three Dantes between lot purchases )

If you can wait, go to a gamesday and buy them from the bitz section. I bought around 50 one year for my blood angels and I don't remember spending too much. I don't remember the total either, but it was a lot less than you are looking at. Plus you get to see everything else at gamesday as a bonus.

Sounds like good advice drummerboy the alternatives don't seem too feasible, imho, unless you are up for casting, which I am not personally.

Do they still do bits orders at gamesdays?

i think at the moment i might have a reasonable alternative, so we'll see how that goes. i am just trying to cut back a little on my spending, i've already bought about 70 metal blood angels marine, specifially for their icons on their armor, 7 rhinos, 3 LR, 4 dreads, 2 baals, 2 predators, 2 vinds, 2 whirlwinds, 30 terminators and all the forgeworld parts in between. which is why i was willing, but not willing, to buy all the dante models i needed.
