There's a new supplement for Battlefield Evolution. For those of you who don't know it, I'll sum it up: It's a fast small tabletop game with a few interesting rule additions.
I played a few demos and thought it was really cool, but neither of the settings did it for me. Modern Warfare games have a bad aftertaste since I played the first Iraq level in CoD 4 and I was never interested in WW2 games.
So, nice game, but no interesting setting. Until Apocalypse Z. The Z, stands of course for....ZOMBIES!

The new book brings two army lists: The enclave, consisting of the surviving humans in a post-zombicalyptic future, with militia units, military, firemen and the like.
And then there's the Horde. Which is basically everything I always wanted to do with a Lost and the Damned 40k army. There are Zombies, vomiting Zombies, extra infectious Zombies and several special units like zombie dogs, monkeys, bats and beasts.

It should also be mentioned that the new factions were succesfully playtested against the factions from the modern Warfare book. For balancing vehicles would cost 50% percent more pints and air units 100% more.

I haven't played it so far, but the book's a nice read and I'm always looking for an excuse to build more zombies

Thanks for the recommendation, the speed of the BFE probably works well for zombie games. I'll give it a look even though I'm pretty much done with all Mongoose products.

Thank god BFE really needs to get rid of its tasteless 'kill the ragheads' concept. zombies sound great.

But killing Ragheads is fun. Derka Derka! Same thing could be said about many things.... Like killing germans, or British Redcoats.

Lol

Seriously though, its a game... try to enjoy it.
