Hi Guys! My first post here. I usually find myself anchored on Warseer when I am on a Warhammer forum, but they seem to be having all sorts of trouble lately and this board seems rather encouraging. I figured I would share some pics of my army. I am working on a Tyranid army and a Tzeentch Warrior of Chaos army. I am not a very advanced painter or modeller and I struggle to be clean and neat, but I try. I am basically trying to paint two armies that I will be happy to game with. Here is the video introduction:

WORKSPACE

BRUTUS!

I DIDN'T LIKE HOW THESE LOOKED

THEY ENDED UP LIKE THIS

MARAUDER HORSEMEN

On the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bones of countless millions who at the dawn of victory lay down to rest, and in resting died.

Welcome!

When I first saw the pic with brutus in it and spotted the carnifex I thought 'oh dear'. I thought we would be talking about undercoats and the like.

Your stuff is looking pretty good for what you seem to want, keep it up!

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

Agreed... I see nothing to fault in the manner of making a solid tabletop quality force. Keep it up!

Like the progression on the Chaos Warriors. End product is much much better than the odd blue.

I think Brutus would make for a killer Tyranid. Maybe you should resin-cast him?

I'm just kidding. Seriously though, I would bring him to my next Tyranid gaming session and let him loose on the table, just for kicks. Maybe cover the enemy force in Brutus-food? He would totally become the next Red Terror.

The Chaos Warriors are a nice, solid quality, but I do have to say I like the previous color for the armor better. I'd say as they are, they could use just a tad more highlighting on the blue and they're good to go (The blue pales in comparison to the quality of the leather and capes).

Pain is an illusion of the senses, Despair an illusion of the mind.

Haha that would be funny if you put Brutus on the table. I keep threatening my gaming group that I am going to put my 3 year old on the table as a Stompa

The paint is definately solid, and is very nice for the tabletop. It could just be the light or camera, but the blues and yellows seem a little flat. Have you tried a wash on them?

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
