I didn't play Epic 'back in the day' with Knights. Bell of Lost Souls gives the Paladin a battlecannon on one arm, a DCCW on the other, and a heavy bolter under the head. Were there any other typical weapon loadouts for the Knights? Thanks.

In the dark future, there are skulls for everyone. But only the bad guys get spikes. And rivets for all, apparently welding was lost in the Dark Age of Technology. -from C.Borer

That sounds like a good approximation of the 2nd edition Epic load-out. Some sort of approximation of the shock lance (lightning bolts shot out of the eyes, IIRC) would be good, too. Something along the lines of a meltagun's stats would do nicely, IMO.

1st edition Epic stats were basically the same, but omitted the bolt weapon.

Please not that if you look at the old models, some of them obviously have ginormous meltas and if you've Read mechanicus, the Knights there seems to be armed predominantly with "cannons", some kind of rapidfire Lascannon, and blades.

Personally, they are the nobility of an Adeptus Mechanicus Vassal world. I like to think that they'd have the same kind of variation in armament that a Tiatn would have. (heck, the Wardens in the latest rules, the Titan Legions experimental list from specialist games, had twin linked Heavy Bolters and a Quake Cannon)

Many a Sentinel pilot has hesitated to call his vehicle a walking coffin after battling beside a Dreadnought.

I wouldn't take the experimental lists very seriously, background-wise. They haven't been vetted by the IP guys at GW or anything; they're just something made by the guys at Epicomms.
