I've been playing for about a year with down time since spring of 08'. I haven't gotten into the new 5th edition stuff yet. I played Necrons for my first army and I am currently working on a Tau army list. I play a multitude of games from table top, to CCG, to video games.

I first found out about Warhammer when I was maybe 10 or 11, my parents brought me to the mall with them which had a shop that played Warhammer. In front of the shop they had a small demonstration battle going on, Orks vs Space Marines. I forgot about it about a year or so later though it was in the back of my head just waiting for the right time to jump up which was last year when a store opened up about 10 minutes away if walking.

Not much else to say, I hope to have a great experience on the Dakka Dakka forums.

Welcome to Dakka Stragint! You should post your Tau list in the army section and see how it stacks up in 5th edition. There are some Necron codex rewrite rumors a float as well. So happy gaming!

I've also heard the rumors of a new Necron codex and I am pretty excited to see if its true and what will change. I was planning on getting rid of my Necron army but I think I'll be keeping it just in case the new codex improves the army.
