Well, with my order finally coming in, and my painting going to start up within the week, I decided I'd get my blog going. Mostly, because if I have a blog or purpose, it'll help to motivate me in finalizing my fluff until I actually have progress to show to you guys. I've always had the vaguest idea of my fluff idea for my own chapter, and now I'm going to try and write this up. For now, all I have is a vague picture of my colour scheme, photoshopped over the official GW picture of a Chaplain, and filtered to cover up my shoddy PS skills.

So I welcome you to the founding of the Gray Crusaders!

The Grey Knights. Those shams, walking around, calling themselves the imperium's greatest force. They dare say they are so holy, when they still resort to their psykers and psycannons. If they were truly as powerful as they pretended, they wouldn't hide behind their heavy weapons and heretical magicks. They would meet their enemies in the charge, and they would be blessed for their faith. This is why we are here, men. This is why we exist. We don't get any of the credit or the glory of those walking tin cans, but we will pick up their slack. Where they fail as our emperor's guardians, we will succeed. We will ride against all of our enemies, and will never look back in fear. This is our time, men because we are the Gray Crusaders!

Yes sir, the difference is the minor nuance in spelling of Gray/Grey. Obviously, the Gray Crusaders are accepted as the Gray Crusaders when it comes to them being a space marine chapter, but they are rather fanatical, and see themselves as everything that the Grey Knights were supposed to be.

My sons... this is a most grievous hour... The Imperium of man is aging, and with that comes the failing eyesight of an aged man. I feel they can no longer clearly see the victory that we bring to them, our the power of our Faith. We are still rewarded by our Faith, but our actions are being misinterpreted. This dark hour is a time where we must make a decision. We must decide what is most important to us, and this decision will have impacts. Oh yes, it will.
