Hi there

Thought I would just post a regulation intro...

I have only just joined, obniously, although I have been aware of the site for years now.
I have been gaming since Talisman in the late eighties, when I was only a lad of eight. A few years of basic board gaming followed until I started painting and playing WFB and 40K when I was about twelve. Since than I have been playing regularly but am really more of a painter. Whilst I was at school I worked at my local GW on weekends, and worked there full-time during my gap year, halcyon days they were. These days I enjoy playing the smaller games like Necromunda and Blood Bowl, WFB and 40K are too time consuming for me and I start to lose interest, althougn I still devour the minatures and background. I had a lull for about three years where I painted about ten minatures in total,(I still got WD and all the BL books, old habits die hard) but over the last few months I have re-forged my enthusiasm for painting and am really enjoying getting back into it. I figured I would join Dakka and be able to get more involved in the gaming community as well as check all those minatures you all have been working on, I am a shameless ideas thief!!
