my friends have arguing about this one question for the past 2 weeks and i'm getting tired of it,

the question is : "can you drown in the pool of immortality?"

ok let me say this slowly, since you guys helped me get that bit cleared up with my friends , i was wondering if you guys want me to come up with more anomolies like : can you drown in the pool of immortality and other stuff like that.

I still don't really understand. Are your friends going to fight over these as well?

There was a comic I remember reading that wasn't so great, but it involved
time traveling immortals. As punishment for his crimes, one of the immortals was
chained and bound to the bottom of a fountain in the immortals' city
square. He continually revived, drowned and revived again.

It was also used as a cliffhanger for one of the seasons of Angel.

Two undead fighting each other isn't pointless. Eventually one will win out over the endurance of the other reducing it's body to tatters of flesh and shards of bone. Of course the other probably won't be much better off. But eventually one will be beyond the capability to produce violent action.

I would say yes. Achilles was dipped in the river of immortality, but didnt get wet on his heel, but he could not be dipped again to fix that problem. as such I would say that after you are covered in the water of immortality you should get up off it quickly. or something.
