I've put this off for a few weeks, but....

I'm new to DakkaDakka. I've played CSM for three years (got into them because I played fantasy chaos and had the demons, now they take away demons from both!!) I started as a fantasy player but 40K has become my favorite due to the skirmish-type movement rules and the countless opportunities for conversion. My current army is Orks, my friends complained that my chaos army was too strong so I jumped at the chance that AOBR's affordability and the Orkish conversion possibilities offered. I have been playing Orks exclusively and have been very sucessful with them, so much so that one of my friends has jumped on the battlewagon so to say. I think that my friends are beginning to reconsider their suggestion that I start a new army!

I would consider myself a decent converter and painter and an above average player. I've won 2/4 of the small, local tourneys I've played in (3 best-tactitian, 3 best painted, 2 overall). I need a good beat-down to keep my head from getting too big, so if you're in the central Wisconsin area shoot me a PM and we can set up a game!

I am currently working on putting together my Ork minis and painting my CSM. I have fully painted BOC, WOC, and CSM 2000pt armies (though I have waaay too many miniatures to paint for bigger games or alternate lists) and an unpainted Ork army. I often find myself buying miniatures for a new army that I'm excited about only to trade it off before putting anything together. GW loves me.
