well i went down to the games workshop store the other day with my friend we both brought all of our models, i play necrons my friend plays ultramarines. well after we got there we decided to be stupid and have a $50 wager. who ever lost had to give the winner $50, well we got to brainstorming and we decided to be a little more stupid: we came up with a rule that all you could feild was basic troops and an HQ, no transports no tanks no bikes just plain old, slow infantry. well i got my ass handed to me and i payed up. im not going to go into detail because its really embarrasing. the good thing is i didn't have to pay him the money because he had the store clerks come up and bombard me with questions so often i lost track of what i was doing and made stupid mistakes. yes it sucked and it took for ever because we were playing 4500 points but it was still fun and challenging.

You played a 4,500 pts game with nothing but Necron Warriors and HQ choices? Ouch. Well, it's no wonder you lost since the warriors probably couldn't stand up to the more versatile Tacmarines, but seriously, what posessed you to agree to that? Necrons have the most boring Troop choice of all armies (a single entry with no special weapons or customization), it sounds like it must've been incredibly boring...

all i play is necrons i dont have any other armies.

i thought it would be different i had never tried it before.
