I was reading some fluff the other day in the 5th ed. rulebook about chaos space marines and renegade chapters and i got some inspiration for a new army/modelling challenge. I was thinking it would be interesting to start my own space marine force, create my own chapter with a colour scheme and fluff for it and then try and model an equivalent chaos space marine force based on this original chapter that has broken away from the imperium and fallen into chaos.
Just wondering if anyone has done or knows anyone who has done something similiar to this. Because im sure im not the first person to think of this. The forces would be small, maybe 1000pts each and would in no way have to be really competative forces, but id just like to hear what everyone thinks would be appropriate unit equivalents between the two armies.
