Hello all.

I'm new to Warhammer 40000. I first knew about it in the late 80s as a friend used to occasionally read White Dwarf and I liked the look of the Space Marines but I never got around to buying any models. Fast forward 20 years and I was passing my local Games Workshop store and thought I would just go for it so I bought the assault on Black Reach set about six weeks ago. I absolutely love painting the miniatures and reading the codexes as the source material is so rich with imagination.

Just this week I've bought the new Ork battlewagon and a Predator and I'm going to finish painting either the Orks or Ultramarines in the next two weeks to take them to my local store for a beginners lesson as I've never actually played the game. I'm really looking forward to that and then I'll see about buying or making a gameboard.

Anyway, I've been lurking on this forum for a while so I though I'd introduce myself.
