Hey all, this is my army of blood ravens, i picked this side not because of the fluff but because they are in the campaign for DOW (which is an awesome game) and they look cool as, considering that you can use every model for the counts as rule. anywho my camera wasnt being nice so half the pictures are fail, and noticed on few some ugly mistakes which i have changed. and pls no ranting about drilling boltlers etc since im too lazy to get rid of mold lines and make it more realistic and in general a better model... so C&C!!.

for starters

Scouts (which need 4 more models)

Tatical squad Beta

Drop pod

Devastatorszz (equipt with a tatical squad sargent!)

Librarian (jumppack HQ)

Vanguard squad

note that the relic blade vanguard space marine has been painted. and the painted PW vanguard SM fails and have almost repainted 1/3 of it.
i am trying to get terminator assault squad, land raider redeemer, more scouts, more droppods and ill go on from there

*first attempt of a SM army

nice paintwork! i can see that you prefer painting details rather than flat plates of armour tho-just like me!
my solution was to stop collecting blood angels and start on my own chapter- the predominant colour being black.this way i could concentrate on them lovely details!

Nice models. Your painting looks good all around and it's a decent tabletop quality.

Now on for the Constructive Criticism.

I'd brighten up the highlights just a little bit. It's noticeable that you've done them, but they're a little thin/dark for my personal tastes. A little more brightening of them will make the models *pop* a little more, and take them to an above average tabletop quality.

I'd do a mix of about 75% of your base coat red with about 25% skull white, then progressively layer up to about 50% Red and 50% white.

ill need to test it out but i see where you are going, i could go out with extreme highlighting but that might clog up the model too much, maybe just the main areas (helm, raised areas etc) ill try it out today and hopefully get more pictures since ive only got 1 more model to paint - cheers for C&C

bigger pictures! they look cool though. you should definately try a wash on the the red and bone. try badab black on the red (or sepia/mud), and a sepia on the bone. it will pull the highlights together better. i love blood ravens.
