Yesterday, my DIY Chapter battled Marcus' EC army.

Red Ravens:
Librarian
10 Termies w/ cyclone x2
10 Assault Termies
10 Tacticals w/ missile launcher, melta
10 Tacticals w/ missile launcher, melta
10 Scouts w/ sniper rifle x5
2 Attack Bikes w/ multimelta
Predator w/ heavy bolters

Chaos:
2x DP w/ wings, MoS, lash
3 Terminator Champions
8 Noise Marines w/ doom siren, Rhino
8 Noise Marines w/ doom siren, Rhino
8 Noise Marines w/ blastmaster
3x2 Obliterators

Mission: 4 objectives.
Deployment: quarters, each objective in one quarter. NW quarter = Chaos, SE quarter = Red Ravens.

Battlefield: large building in the center with partial TLOS, several small forests around it.

Marcus deployed 2 Obliterators plus the shooty NM squad in a forest in the backfield, while the other 2x2 Obliterators hided in a forest closer to the centre.

Red Ravens deployed the Sniper Scouts (5 men) into cover in the NE quarter holding one objective.

First turn (NM): Both Rhino squads moved forward at full speed, each with one DP behind. One Rhino headed NE while the other headed SW. Shooting was pretty unspectacular as the building gave cover.

First turn (RR): The Librarian with shooty Termies moved SW, while the Assault Termies moved NE. The Rhino in the SE quarter got under heavy fire and even it was partially in cover, it exploded and the NM crawled out, with one NM dead.

Second turn (NM): The DPs tried to lash Red Raven units but got blocked thanks to the psychic hood. The Rhino heading NE unloaded its Marines and they made short work with the Sniper Scouts via shooting. The NM that disembarked from the destroyed Rhino moved backwards towards the objective in the SW quarter.

Second turn (RR): The Termies moved forward. In the SW quarter, the DP came under heavy fire but resisted to die with 1 wound left. At the same time, in the NE quarter, the Assault Termies charged the NM squad wiping it out.

Third turn (NM): The DP in the NE quarter lashed the Assault Termies pushing them back, while the other DP failed to use the lash. The shooty Termies got decimated from the Obliterators.

Third turn (RR): Now the DP in the SW quarter died from shooting, while the DP in the NE squad got charged by the Assault Termies and hit the floor, too.

Forth turn (NM): The situation got grim for the Chaos army. Shooting decimated the Termie units.

Forth turn (RR): The Assault Termies moved towards the 2x2 Obliterators, while the shooty Termies approached the NM squad occupying the objective in the SW quarter.

Fifth turn (NM): The Chaos army did the best to shoot the Termies.

Fifth turn (RR): The Assault Termies charged an Obliterator squad wiping it out, while the heavily decimated shooty Termies charged the NM; the AC held his ground.

Chaos surrendered: RR held two mission objectives in the SE (home) and NE quarters, while Chaos had the objective in the NW (home) quarter.

Aftermath: Assault Termies are awesome. Termies are awesome. Librarians are awesome. Space Marines are awesome.
Well, my 5 men Scout unit outflanked the enemy appearing close to the objective in the NM (home) quarter, but got taken down via shooting.
By the way, the Chaos Termies did never arrive at the battlefield. Poor Chaos.
