The symbolism of a new world* leader has happily co-incided with my tau army arriving in the post...
And I found this forum, which seems like an excellent resource. My compliments to those who set it up and maintain it.
I'm really interested in establishing a 40k gaming network in Scotland - the central belt and Glasgow in particular - and perhaps elsewhere in the UK/Ireland. I've tried facebook but there are only a few people in Scotland admitting to 40k tendancies. And I'm of the opinion that Bebo is for school kids (just alienated half my audience.. bugger! I take it back!). So here I am.
I was a huge fan of 40k in my teens but things like education, socialising and responsibility have gotten in the way... until now!
'So, I say to you today, let's change the way we arrange 40k battles in northern Britain...' I invite you all to have Tau-like dialogue with me, and perhaps by this time next year we will have a Scottish league on the go?
I look forward to using the forum and meeting fellow players. In order to continue the thread, I'd be interested in hearing what all you other 40k players do for a living.
I will start us off: Energy research scientist.
