Word.

I've decided to get back into Warhammer. I'd been collecting 40k Orks for years, and eventually worked at a GW. When I left and went to film school and started a career, I lost the time to do it. However after dropping a hobby (warhammer) and turning another one into a profitable skill (video work) I found myself needing a venue for creative expression. So I started playing Bass. Now I'm in a couple bands/projects with that, so once again, back to the original problem. So I picked up warhammer again.

I haven't played since 3rd edition, so I need to re-learn how to play, and before I can do that, I need an army that at least somewhat resembles the ideas in my mind.

So here's where the forum come in. I want to make a battlewagon, dreadnaught, looted vehicle (or two), a hand full of coptas, lootas, burna boys and warbike squad of 5.... all scratch built or from older kits that are converted to match the quality of the new ones. I was thinking it would be cool to do a P&M blog, both to get advice, fresh ideas from other people, and as a motivator. It's a pretty big task for somebody who's been out of it for nearly five years, but one of my last projects was making a squad of cyborks, converting two wartrakks and a buggy to make them look "current", and a highly converted 1k point Orc fantasy army (never painted it ...maybe that could be a blog in it self)

So uh... that's my introduction.

Wait, so I don't have to sign anything or kill anybody? I just have to believe? That's no fun!

Question. Because I'll be documenting so many projects in P&M blogs, I'm thinking I should probably group similar projects together in the same thread, so I'm not spamming an entire forum section every time something gets primed. (so say I put all tanks in one thread) Would that be the proper thing to do here?

I don't know if it really matters. Threads get put up and many fade pretty quick. I guess it depends on your preference and strategy for showing off your stuff. I'd group them but I don't like to post unless it's a huge (and really successful i.g. I impress myself) conversion. Or it's a finished piece. That's just me. I'm pretty new myself but it seems pretty friendly here overall.

Someone else that's been on longer may have a better perspective. to anyone reading...
