Get White Dwarf #349 and look at page 81. The tip about using the water effects on the windows of the building kits to make them look like glass. I don't know who thought of that, but they should get an award! Granted, most of White Dwarf is basically an ad for GW products, but little things like that and the Ork buildings stuff for Cities of Death are what keep me buying it.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see a bit of positivity about WD for a change.

Perhaps it indicates a change of editorial direction. Would be nice if WD stopped being a catalogue and promo for the latest models, and did more hobby related stuff. I don't think this would hurt GW.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Exactly,It would be nice to see a return to hobby related articals in WD,I recall when you could purchase an issue and it was loaded with "how to" info, scratch building, modeling etc.plus lots of fun battle reports (the Andy Chambers "speed freak" army comes to mind).
Now WD seems to be little more than a "This is our new stuff..Go buy it" tome, which is sad because it has(as shown in the past) the potential to be a worth while purchase.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
