Hello all,
Long time lurker brought out of my internet cave by the Battlefoam contest. After posting my contest entry I figured I might as well start posting on this fantastic forum.
A bit bout me: I started gaming about six years ago with Dungeons and Dragons. A few years after that I was looking around on the internet and stumbled upon a blog about warhammer. After carousing more forums I decided to start it. Oddly enough, the day I decided to shell out for a warhammer army was the same day a GW hobby center opened a mile from my house.
For 40k I started with Guard, then moved to sisters of battle (an army I stupidly sold). I moved to Switzerland after that and I started a chaos nurgle army there(which I sold after a year of playing it). I moved back to the US this year(a block from where I used to live) and I just recently started a space marine army.
Fantasy wise, I started with the old dark elves, and after playing with them for a few years I decided i needed a more user friendly powerhouse army. Enter beasts of Chaos! Shortly after that exit beasts and enter empire!
I've recently branched away from GW and picked up a gigantic flames of war German infantry army and I am happily painting them whenever I get tired of painting 40k.
All in all I'm addicted to rolling dice, pewter and plastic!
