I'm not an expert, but I would suggest taking around 45 - 50 dollars.
The original is 35 + paints + time worked (I would probably add $4 for every hour worked)
That should add to around 45 - 50.
I would suggest ebay, so that the price would go to the most poeple would be willing to pay.

There are only six figures there? It's only worth > retail if someone can use that particular paint scheme, otherwise, it would be discounted 30-50% because someone has to strip it. On the plus side, it's a reasonable paint job and neutral enough where it could be added to any Tau army without necessarily looking out of place.

I've seen many poeple color vespids vastly differently than the rest of their army, and it still doesn't look out of place.
EDIT: It is a pretty good paint job.

You can probably ask retail for the minis. Unless you're a Golden Daemon winner, retail is about the going rate for painted minis. You might get a little more if someone really likes the paint job.

I would start the auction at 20% off retail. You will most likely get retail since its not a bad paint job.

unfortunately, unless your well known in the minis painter world, there's very little chance of getting much past retail. your stuff is painted nicely but i'd recommend getting the bases flocked too. people who tend to buy painted figs don't want to do any work on them (just buy, ship, and play). what's worked for me in the past is to put the buy it now price at current retail (most of the models i've sold and will sell i've picked up over 5 years ago at a discount).

Right now, it looks good enough people wont strip it ( assuming the blurry ones at the back is the same quality)
But , i guarantee if you finish the bases, their worth will go up by 30%
Yes it makes that much of a difference, so base them!

The problem is if you base them and they are different from someone elses basing, then it gets all screwy..

Personally, I'd rather that the bases were painted black, to neaten them up, but leave unflocked so that I can do my own basing scheme on them.

It got screwy when Lunahound guarantee'd a 30% increase. Retail is a fair price to ask for these - you did paint them, they are nice, and anyone who'll claim otherwise is trying to take advantage of you.
