I played my Kaya list tonight against a good friend. Here is a run-down of the lists(forgive me if I'm not 100% on what he had) and what all happened.

Circle:
Kaya
Warpwolf
Gnarlhorn
Argus x 2
Bloodtrackers (10)
Shifting Stones (3)

Trollbloods:
Grim
Mauler
Impaler
Scatter Gunners
Pyg Burrowers (8)
Alten Ashley
Fell Caller

He went first only to advance. My turn I ambuscaded for 10" and only killed 1 Scatter Gunner. Everything else moved up. Kaya gave the Gnarlhorn Stealth. His turn Grim did Lock Target on the Bloodtrackers. Fell Caller gave +2 to hit for the Scatter Gunners, and they then hit all the Bloodtrackers with sprays to wipe out the whole unit. Pygs were under ground and just moved up. Impaler moved into position, hit a Argus for some damage. Alten moved up, shot at the same Argus only to miss. Mauler moved close to Grim. My turn. I made a few mistakes dealing with his army, but was able to get a quick kill in. It was more cat & mouse for the next few turns. Warpwolf killed Alten. Mauler killed a Argus. Warpwolf charged the Mauler, missed his first attack, so he didn't get his chain-attack off. Did some pretty heavy damage to it. I was able to get my Stones up close enough by the 4th turn to walk my Gnarlhorn up into their triangle. They teleported him, Kaya Spirit Door within 2" of him, and had 3 fury on her. She was within 2" of Grim, so she started attacking. She missed 2 attacks. On the 3rd scored a hit with knock-down.. Rolled two 5's. She hit Grim who had no fury, did a small amount of damage, then poped her feat, getting 6 from a Gnarlhorn and the last Argus. She did low damage for 3 hits, then boosted the 4 for a win.

What I learned:
Kaya is not good against infantry. Bloodtrackers are really not my strong point, and they seem to be a one-trick pony for my type of play-syle. I'm going to think about a new list using the Wolves of Orboros. CMA and pathfinder, with reach should give me something a little better to fall back on. So here's the new list.

Fraction: Circle
Model Count: 19
Victory Points: 20

Kaya the Wildborn
Warpwolf
Gnarlhorn
Argus
Argus
Wolves of Orboros (10)
Shifting Stones (3)
War Wolf

Sorry for the long post, but I was able to get a quick 350 in with just Kaya, a Warpwolf, Gnarlhorn, and an Argus. The knock-down tactic with the Wolf and Goat really did well with Doppler Bark. I was able to yo-yo against one target and control the game very well.

I think the blood trackers are a lot better than the wolves, just wait until turn 2 to use them. A lot of people blow their load with them on turn one and then they all die, but those chicks are really scary if they are running around somewhere and you know they have prey on your favorite unit. I would use Alten too, he's way too powerful to pass up....I'd use him all the time, but I'm Skorne and Legion

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)
Adepticon 2011- Combat Patrol Best General

I play almost all Warmachine players. This person just happens to be the only other Hordes player at the current moment. Although a Skorne player may start soon.

Bloodtrackers are great, but they dont match my type of style. I cant wait for turn 2. I dont like to wait.

I'm working out a way to use the Wolves. Most of the time, the Wolves will work out better then the Bloodtrackers. I'm trying to work out a list for the UA and maybe 2 War Wolfs... So far no luck.. We'll see..
