Implacable Black Templar Initiate

Australia

So... hey there. Been lurking from the unregistered side of things for a short while now, figured I'd slowly join in and eventually display my awesomely bad painting skills.

Bit of a nutter (But then I'm Australian, so it's expected), but otherwise tame. Something of a affinity for tanks, and things that make other things go boom, and so many projects, potential and active running about in my head, that it's a wonder I finish anything, ever. Currently building up an army of Black Templar and planning on starting some IG at some point... because they have tanks... lots and lots of tanks. I might post up some of my painting attempts at some point, but I've a few I want to base before taking pot shots with my camera... we'll see.

WH40k isn't where I started though... oh no, I had dwarves waay back in the day. Back when they could still take Griffons and whatnot in their army. They couldn't ride them... but they could take them as support! Lost most of that army a few moves ago, with only a few of the choice metal models surviving (most of which were never painted, ahh the joys of youth). Gotta say, I prefer some of the old models for the dwarves, such as the Anvil of Doom (on wheels!), and the old flame cannon... which with my rolls tended to explode and immolate those unlucky enough to be near it. Good times, good times...

Oh well, should be fun. I'll post up some of my stuff when I get the chance to take photos.

Just a handful...
