This is my first attempt at a list so please any commenst or critics are very welcome.

Putting the Cyclopses prescience on the cannoneer, while having the Paingivers remove fury from it. The cyclopses can route most warcasters/warlocks due their their pretty handy threat range (reach). Hexeris has some great support abilities and a decent amount of fury. Any thoughts?

I'd ditch a savage for a krea and if you can squeeze in the points somewhere the little baby elephant is great in hordes.

Ah, an interesting take on Skorne, one that could certainly work. First of all, I like any list with Hexeris. With so few troops, his best ability, Death March, is missed, but his other abilities are great too, particularly Deathbringer (on enemy beasts/jacks near support troops) and Soul Slave (on Cyclopses).

Two Cyclopses are a great choice -- they're great all-round beasts. Finding a use for Prescience necessitates the Savages, otherwise I'd always choose Brutes.

I've never used the Cannoneer, so I can't really comment on him. However, he provides a ranged attack to your forces, which is very welcome to the otherwise stunted Skorne.

Paingivers are a must, something I forgot when I was suggesting lists earlier. Good choice there, for sure. Even better that you've found a specific purpose for them.

You've got a very beast-oriented list, which is great in 350. I'm somewhat fixed on the battle-line tactics, as they've always worked well for me in the past, but you've got a great combo set up. This list is also quite easy to expand upon, by adding line troops. You're pretty much at your beast limit; I doubt Hexeris (or any caster) could handle more than three beasts reliably.

EDIT: @Manuel: I find the Krea works best with a Drake. Spirit Lock, Gaze, and Hexeris' The Suffering can cause an opposing beast to turn on its own army. However, that's something for larger games... I wouldn't use a Krea in a list of this size.

Well thank you bayruun, thats certainly kind of you to say.

I used Cyc Savages in the demo games that i played and they were just phenomenal, the ability to boost a roll after it has been cast + a 2" melee threat range is just amazing not to mention how rediculously tuff they are. I was using prescience on a normal titan and that worked well for pummeling a carnivean into dust.

So i figure with the list here i can keep a similar play style while adding ranged aoe threat as well.

I used morgul in the test games and absolutely hated him lol, after reading the description Hexris seems like a much better choice.

The only thing i see that i really lack with this list is speed, i.e. no advanced deployment and slow beasts, but the cannoneer allows me to kind of force my enemy to manuver where i want them

But those are the skone's limitations. There are no adv. deployment or path finders in the first two books, in meta there are some ways to get path finder. The Cyclops on the otherhand are move 6 so not slow at all 11" charge is not shabby.

You can by the way fit another paingiver to the unit, which raises you to 350 even.

I just don't like to leave the desert without paralytic aura. Nice combo there

Oh cool thanks Metsuri, and you are correct Cyclops threat range is respectable I am not dicounting them I am more or less remarking on the large warbeasts and general footsloggers that Skorne has.

I find Paralytic Aura works great with troops, especially against Cygnar and other shooty armies. Throwing a Krea behind a unit of Cataphracts makes them as hard as Khador jacks.

In that 350 list, however, nothing really benefits enough from the Krea's aura, unless you're using it offensively.

Paingivers' Enrage makes that threat range a little higher, and the resulting charge more effective. While it's much more impressive on a Gladiator (two attacks, extra throw range, etc), it's useful if you've got to kill something a little better, like a caster.

Why Hexeris, I'd take Morghul.

Well you can keep him, I was truely unimpressed with him as a warlock. But thats just me.

Indeed, I found that he's really good in small games.
