Has anyone ever tried to stain the clear plastics you get with GW minis? I'm thinking of putting purple ink on the clear plastic you get with Warwalkers. Has anyone ever tried this? What are the results?

This should be in modeling & painting really. But Inks would work fine if you are spraying it on. Don't know how flexible it is when dry and might flake on you if the plastic bends. Having consistency in the "tint" is hard because not may unformulated paints like to stick to plastic. Tamiya makes clears just for this purpose. Also any Testors Candy paint will work if used lightly. Candy=tinted clear.
