CSM POSSESED CSM KHORNE BERSERKERS and lord

Imperial general Mikael Guilbert surveyed his regiment. All battle ready soldiers each one having his own back story, each one sentenced to death when his regiment was forced to face the foul spawn of chaos. The chaos had already reached the river. Once they crossed Mikael would have his men and his mighty battle tank fill the spawn with las rounds and suppression fire. If they managed to cross the river Mikael knew that the battle would be lost. A ghastly chant was echoed from across the river and the choas began to march into the river.

"Are they serious we will cut them down long before they make it to us!" the generals junior sergeant exclaimed prepping his plasma gun.
"WE will see" Mikael responded then signaled to his leman russ and the heavy weapons teams to his rear. They began to unload shocking amounts of fire into the river where the enemy was crossing. An entire squad of Chaos marines was cut down by the hvy weapon bolter fire supported by the cannon of the leman russ. Yet the choas still advanced.
Perhaps Mikael oversaw the fact that the river was shallow around the forest the leman russ was hiding behind, but a squad of chaos marines made their way through the shallows intent on destroying the tank. Although the constant fire from the guard impaled the chaos ranks, still a dozen khornate berserkers and a handful of daemonic marines emerged out of the river.
That's when the battle shifted drastically. The marines that crossed the shallows now had made their way into the forests suffering only a couple of minor casualties from guard fire. the possessed ran at remarkable speed towards the first regiment, while the berserkers unloaded their bolt pistols into regiment 2 killing four soilders. Mikael's presence alone kept the guard in order as guardsmen after guardsmen unloaded their laspistols into the squads charging.
"Die chaos filth!" cried the junior sergeant as he fired his plama gun; which then exploded in his hand killing the sergant where he stood. The general forced a chuckle. He never liked the sergeant although this wasn't the time to be celebrating. The chaos threat was almost diminished, after successful shooting from the guard the possessed were down to two men and the berzerkers had about 4 men remaining.
Noticing the tide of battle shifting in their favor, Leman russ crewman Feng decided that victory was inevitable. But it was too bad that he didn't remember that four marines were in the forest. It's too bad that he didn't notice the two melta guns in the hands of the marines. It's too bad that the gun hit the tank directly, exploding it and incinerating the crew, and Feng with it. The berserkers assaulted a squad of guardsmen and with the help of the vengeful daemon axe of their khorne lord annihilated all of the guardsmen in regiment 3. The possesed assaulted regiment two and dealt two casualties and received one as well. Mikael told his hvy weapons teams to focus on the chaos marines that blew up his tank, then ordered his men not within combat to unload bullets on to the khorne squad. Only the lord remained.
In combat the last possessed killed two more guardsmen, then finally collapsed dead after failing to save a weak blow to the chest.

Final moments of the battle. With only the one lord remaining Mikael knew he had won the day, but perhaps he would not survive it, for the lord charged him and his command. The titanic beast ate through his command squad and dealt a wound to the general himeself. Mikael whipped his power fist at the lord inflicting a single wound that the lord saved miraculously, perhaps by the will of his god. All the guardsmen in the vicinity prepared themselves, ready to shread the lord to pieces once the assault was overg.

general Mikael's blooded corpse was found the next day. His head lopped off by the khorne lord. Next to him was the lord, whose body was filled with las and bolter rounds. The day was won by the guard though losses were momentous. END

All in all the battle was based on me and my buddy grabbing random models and putting them on the table. I was playing chaos and I had a feeling that I had a lot less points on the board. Regardless The possessed were my most hated unit in this match, ironic considering I was controlling them. They couldn't make an armour save for their lives....

My khorne lord doesn't usually pay for his points in matches but this one he did, taking down a guard squad and an entire command. Big reason why I wanted to report this, I found it so freaking hilarious that my friends sergant guy blew himself up with his plasma gun the first shot he took.
