I was just thinking how cool a time lapse of a game of 40k might be along with a well narrated Battle Report. If it's been done, point me to it, but I haven't heard of anyone doing it before.

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. I've seen someone taking a timelapse of an apocalypse game. Next time I see him i'll ask if there's a BR to go with it but there likely isn't as he's more of a visual guy than a rules guy at this point but there's an offhand chance one of the attendees of the apo game could recap it if they remember as far back as last month.

This is a set of videos from Blue Table Painting on YouTube. It's not time-lapse, but a well done battle report with a lot of good info on game ettiquette and whatnot. I'd say it's a must-view for new players, just to see what a good game looks like.

I've never found a time-lapse battle report, although it would be cool. I've been dreaming of a game table set up with a can light like a pool table, and a camera built in for those steady overhead shots. Maybe I'll use your idea and see if I can do video instead and edit it up to time-lapse speed and add some narrations. It seems strange that no one else is already doing it.
