Hello to the world of Dakka. I'm new to the world of wargaming and have recently begun an Ultramarines Warhammer 40k army. Uh... yeah. I'm not sure what to say here, I'm only doing it because it's suggested at the top. If anyone has any advice on painting or tactics or whatever I'd be happy to hear it. I guess I'll post some pictures of my army soon.

Imperial Guardsmen should be issued red shirts with brown pants. The red would be to cover the blood... |

Painting: Paint your models with a rag on a stick.
Tactics: If loosing distract your opponent by pointing behind them and then tip the table over.

welcome aboard and space marines while not awesome in any char. or not weak in any way either.
I have about 3000 points of space marines but I am really concentrating on fantasy at the present time.

Welcome to dakka!
I've got a good tactic for ya:
When your oponent is distracted (going to get a drink or a snack....) Place some of your dead minis back on the table, not too much (Whole squads are too much) and no vehicles or monstrous creatures.

Welcome your painting looks solid for a beginner,I also have a tactic show up drunk it throws your opponent off guard yet it is difficult to understand the rules when your hammered.
