I don't know if this has been posted, and I guess this should be in the News and Rumors section, but this seems more for nerds interested in rules queries, so I put it here. (one hell of a run on sentence)
here it is, the updates are in blue and are interesting: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m2030054_40k_Rulebook_March_2009.pdf

GW FAQ wrote:Q. Can Psychic powers be used on a unit
embarked on a transport?
A. For simplicity’s sake, the answer has to be a
firm ‘No, unless the psyker himself is in the unit
being transported’.
Interesting. This prevents Farseers from Guiding/Fortuning units that are embarked in transports. That's kind of an unlooked-for kick in the teeth for Eldar.

Yep, no more flying around with the vehicle on a jetbike casting fortune on a unit that's about to hop out.
You now have to keep the Farseer in the transport with the unit you want to use it on.

Is this the first time they have updated a FAQ with a different color? I am impressed they did it.
And glad to see a faster FAQ update turn around.

I am surprised they updated the FAQ at all! I was seriously contemplating no more rulebook FAQ's till 6th ed (and who can honeslty say they would have been surprised)

I would be very surprised if they included such a clarification in the rulebook FAQ.
In the Codex Ork FAQ on the other hand.....

Now that GW is satisfying demand by updating its FAQs in a little more timely fashion we'll have to find something else to say rude things about!

"Units that are falling back automatically fail morale checks."
Does that mean a space marine squad that is falling back, can be pinned before their ATSKNF rule takes effect?

Uhhh, what are you guys talking about?
First, you know that particular errata wasn't added in this update of the FAQ right? That one's been out for months now.
Second, a test for pinning is not a morale test, its just a regular leadership test.
Third (and most importantly), the only thing they changed with that errata was to replace the word "Troops" with "Units" (so as not to confuse anyone that the rule applied only to "Troops").
And besides, the only way you could attempt to cause a pinning check on a SM unit was if you managed to prevent them from auto-regrouping on their turn (by being within 6" for example) and as soon as the unit has to fall back again it would revert to normal.

Once the farseer leaves the unit he loses whatever power he used on the unit.

Or does the unit lose it, and the Farseer keeps fortune?

No, because it was cast on the unit and not the Farseer.
