I just started on this forum, and it looks pretty sweet. Question: how "angry" can you get here? I ask because I saw this guy HMBC (or something like that) and another guy get hella pissed at each other and it seemed to be OK. I also post at LO, so I was just wondering what the tolerance level was.

Follow dakka rule number 1- Be polite.

Certain posters who have been here a long time have, lets just say 'complex' relationships online with some of the other posters. They attack each other but if you go through it they are careful not to say anything too stupid. When they do they get reported and are dealt with by the mods like every other poster for a simmilar act.

We want lively discussion but not to have people feel that they are being attacked, or personally attack other members.

Welcome aboard. There are people who can just not let go of an argument or admit that they might be wrong. Sometimes that even includes me. Generally most of us really try to be polite but we want to make our point. But when the name calling starts it is hard to deal with and egos get involved. I have been involved in one of these and it sure was not fun.

hey i hav been to many 40k forum sites an this is the most tolerent so that helps when someone anoys you when you are trying to make a piont. but dont use this as an excuse to get roudy with peeps on this forum and well i hav been in many stuations were tryin to make a piont becomes a nasty debate and well if it gets to out of hand which it doesnt normaly then all hell brakes loose. but you know be nice but dont let anyone push you aruond. stick up for your self when neccesery

Yea itll be fine. Dont worry about someone just getting pissed at you and start screaming. Sometimes people say things or mean things differently and it pisses others off. But in the end Ive never been mad at anyone for saying things.
