Somewhere in the the Eye of Terror...

I've been phantoming this forum for a while now, and I have to say... I like this forum a lot more than warseer. They seem to be real pricks over there.

Anyway, I am impressed by this forum, and now that I've joined I will start posting up a storm.

Some info about me:

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I play 40k, but I've become disenchanted with 40k in that it costs so damn much to play, and being a college student with no Job... well, need I say any more?

I'm extremely interested in =][=munda-heim, as I've seen it's progress. I am all for the smaller scale games, because I was originally introduced to this site via google while looking for rules for "Skirmish 40k". I would love to play some =][=munda-heim, but I have no idea where there is a FLGS near me. there is a GW store down the street aways from me, but I'm not interested much in playing straight 40k.

I'm currently working on making a Blood Angels Death Company army, using the codex rules. (I just want to paint them all death company style, and then have the actual death company be painted even crazier.)

Also, I have a 1500-2000 point Space Marine army, I field it as a "Counts As" salamanders army for the sake of simplicity. (Pisses the GW peeps off sometimes, but whatever.)

Oh, and I have 1200 points worth of terminators (I never use them tho... because, I also have 900 points worth of Legion of the Damned. No tanks, all infantry SM. In 4th ed, I had the special rules that made me infantry oriented so that I could use my cool "Dual Wielding Bolters" figures as models with "True-Grit". Sometimes the GW folk let me do it anyway, even though 5th ed scratched custom stuff.

I'll try to upload some pictures of my army, although I'm reluctant to as they aren't painted by me, and they're all ancient Rogue Trader minis. (I've got 2 RT dreads, all but 1 squad of the tacticals are RT, 2 scouts (Death company?!) that are RT... it's all RT! I even have a squat thudgun thingy.)

I'm glad to be here, so I'll get started.

Anyone near Ace Deuce? (An Arbor/Ypsilanti/Dexter/Chelsea/Clinton/etc.???)

Working on a Death Company Army
Space Marine Force: 1500 pts

I'm working on getting an =][=munda-heim Inquisitorial Retinue going... (as well as trying to find people near me who will play.)
