Picked this little chappy up on eBay years ago, but only just got around to painting him.

Lovely old model. I'm going to have to track down more of the old RT-era stuff. Just too much fun to paint.

For such an old model, he doesn't look half bad. I like it, very steampunk, especially with the colour choice.

2nd edition was the last time the Squats had any sort of official army list, although there were no models officially released (a few studio casts got out and about) that late. This guy's from Rogue Trader (1st Edition).

Have you checked out Ollies armies and his scrunts collection? Or was it you who told me about that site?

Wasn't me, but yes, he has some nice stuff. Not surprising, since he was also responsible for a lot of GW's early squats and dwarfs.

If they got a hold of a Land Raider Crusader then they could probably fit their whole army in it lol. You would need 2-4 of those guys alone to reach the pedals.... I wonder how they would kill their enemies in CC?

Space Dwarf: Take that you stupid Chaos SM!

Chaos Space Marine: Ouch my knee! Lol bet they're way better with guns than CC =\.

I'm guessing they'd be experts in nut-punching. I would love to see you develop a squat land raider though... A pint-sized engine of destruction with ladders to get into the vehicle and something that's roughly 20% smaller. You know what I mean.... If it was a crusader it'd have bolt pistols for the hurricane bolters instead of normal sized bolters and twin-linked scout shotguns to represent the assault cannon.

Tired of reading new rulebooks... Just wanting to play.

So did you intend for the "half bad" remark to come out that way? I lol'd on the floor for a little bit.

They'd fit perfect in the old rhino's. Remind me to tell you sometime, about the Adeptus mechanicus Dwarven SM I thought of doing and am waiting to find enough of the old pieces before I start.

BTW, Nice paint job.

That realy takes me back. Those models were still in production when I quit the hobby, years ago. I always thought they were silly. They should have some sort of "clown-car" rule that says you can fit 50 of them in a rhino.

I'm not sure why people think space-dwarves look sillier than space-elves or space-orks? Feels about the same to me as far as far-fetched-ness (sp?) goes

The Land Raider is already squat-sized, you need GW to release a proper sized LR for the SM instead.

Actually that's a really good idea! Use it for apoc games with lascannons that are as big as a carnifex!
