SOOOO... after a couple of years in the slam, a divorce and a best friend whom-shall-not-be-discussed, i found myself missing oh, about 8,000 points of Space Marines, 4,000 points of
IG, close to 12,000 pts of Orks and the beginning vestages of a Tau Army. No, i have NOT killed anyone (tho the thought has crossed my mind).
I recently started a Templars Army: more of a crusade army.
this is the list so far. i need to finish painting them.
HQ:
1Champion
1
AoBR commander
1 Chaplain (wit the P-Fist, Sweet Sculpt!)
1 Plastic Commander ( Plasma Pistol and the
DA Power Mace thinger)
Elites:
AoBR Dread
Troops:
20 Marines, close combat armed with 1 Flamer, 1 Melta
10 marines, Bolters, with 1 Melta
5 Scout/neophytes Close Combat
Heavy:
1 Land Raider (uhg)
i traded a grip of green skins and the
AoBR Termies (I hate wasting Points and Termies definately count as such) for some Assault Marines that got turned into standard marines. really, discounting the paint n such ive spent about all of 40$ on the ENTIRE ARMY
out of pocket.
still i want to get some drop pods, a couple more troop choices, a bike squad to bust tanks for me. i think with the new codex coming i might start a gaurd army to accompany my marines, especially with the plastic valkyrie (those things are SEXY).
the story with my army, The Watchers, is the remnants of a chapter betrayed by their own brothers and now on the run from an imperium that believes them traitors and breaking just about anything in their path. i want to add gaurd (remnants of the planetary defense force), maybe just using Inquisition outside of Apocalypse games (that's the goal: 10,000 pts of Marines, set up to go codex or Templar w/o problem)
I'm always in the market for cheap/ pre-owned marines, as long as their not too ragged. but that's beside the point.
